Styling Garcelle Beauvais for The Real Daytime Show

In 2021 & 2022, Garcelle Beauvais wore 2 dresses from Myrawoman on The Real daytime show.

I had watched this show from inception and loved every bit of the fashion. The girls always slayed with hair, clothes, shoes and makeup. My mum and I will sometimes take screenshots of outfit we liked 😂.

I was awake one day at 2am and decided to find the stylist for the show. Found her instagram, liked her posts and left a few comments. I woke up in the morning to see a few messages from her about how she liked the brand and wanted to place an order.

We successfully shipped the items to Los Angeles but I had no clue if and when Garcelle will wear the dresses.

Eventually on december of 2021, I got a message saying Garcelle would be wearing one of the dresses on the show. I wasn’t in the US at that point and wanted to watch it live my friend had to call me while the show was on.

I was so happyyyyy, my friends and family were excited. Also had the opportunity to work with the stylist a couple of times after that.

The very annoying thing that happened was, with all the excitement there was still this voice that made it difficult for me to celebrate this as much as I should.

I struggled to celebrate this win, I did a few posts about it and moved on. I’m asking myself this year why I had such thoughts, was I trying to be humble, did I think I didn’t deserve it? Styling Garcelle Beauvais for The Real Daytime Show was a big deal, like a dream come through so I should have celebrated more, talk about my work to everyone.

I don’t have the answer but this year I’ve been so charged to celebrate my wins and encourage others to do same.

We are always looking for the next win or the extremely big win( don’t know who taught us that). Celebrating my wins and progress this year has kept me going and made me happier. You should do the same. Every step and progress counts.👏🏽👏🏽
